| Dear OPAS North America clients, We are writing to share an update as OPAS enters its next chapter in North America. After decades of supporting the growth and adoption of OPAS across the region, Tom Gaitens will retire effective July 1, 2026. Tom’s leadership and long-standing relationships with orchestras have played a central role in establishing OPAS as a trusted and vital platform for orchestra operations. Over the coming months, Tom will remain actively involved to support a steady and well-paced transition. As part of this planned succession, Eva Tartaglia has joined OPAS as President, OPAS US. Eva brings extensive experience in orchestra operations and artistic planning, having worked at organizations including the Portland Symphony Orchestra, Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and Aspen Music Festival & School. Over nearly a decade, she worked closely with Tom to develop a deep, practical mastery of OPAS, championing its capabilities while navigating the day-to-day realities of orchestra operations. Eva also brings experience in technology and product leadership; she is an MBA candidate at Carnegie Mellon University with a focus on technology strategy and product management. OPAS continues to evolve, supported by its global team, and your existing points of contact and support structures will remain unchanged. There is no action needed from you at this time. Over the coming weeks, Tom and Eva will begin scheduling meetings with each of you to discuss the transition and learn more about your priorities. We are excited about the future of OPAS in North America as we build on the strong foundation already in place and continue our partnership with more than 260 orchestras that trust OPAS for comprehensive orchestra administration solutions. Warm regards, Tom Gaitens OPAS in North America (Fine Arts Software) t.gaitens@opas.eu (919) 380-0172 Eva Tartaglia President, OPAS US e.tartaglia@opas.eu |
